Orchestra Academy Lübeck

The Orchestra Academy Lübeck of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck and the University of Music Lübeck (MHL) is a cooperation model that is unique in Germany and is completely geared towards the interests of young musicians. The new Orchestra Academy provides academics with an optimal entry into a professional orchestra. What makes it special is the interlocking of education and profession, which is intensified over three levels: The academics are equally supervised by members of the Philharmonic Orchestra and the University of Music Lübeck and, due to the increasing participation in the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional life. The Orchestra Academy Lübeck is supported by the Possehl Foundation.
